Position Description

The Branch Manager has responsibility for overseeing the overall branch operations as well as maintaining profitable growth through investment and consumer loan portfolios. To be successful in this role, you have a solid background in financial services, business development and people management. The individual in this role actively participates as a member of a much larger management team, all working towards the same goals, to create an environment "where members belong".

To do this, you will lead your team to achieve established goals and objectives; provide coaching and guidance; foster a learning environment, and promote a positive working relationship both internally and externally. You'll be hands on and participative - leading by example and paving the way for those you lead.

Qualifications Required

You will have a desire to make an impact on the organization - both with the people you work with and the members you will serve; and a willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. You will have a history of developing business and business relationships and will be proactively involved in the community. Education to compliment your experience may include a Business Degree, Mutual Funds/Canadian Securities License and/or a CFP designation. Technically, you are well versed in all areas of the branch operation, including deposits, lending and investments.
