Stay informed on the impact of changes to your accounts and new rewards program!

Our teams have been working behind the scenes since August 2021, when we welcomed 17,000 new members from Aldergrove Credit Union to our credit union family, to quickly deliver on our promise to becoming Better Together. Among the many enhancements, a refreshed digital banking experience will be delivered to you on January 19, and in March you will have access to:

  • New spending and saving accounts

  • New rewards program 

Members will automatically transition to their new account(s) on March 1. New accounts will be assigned based on your previous account preferences. Scroll down the page to learn more!

Stay informed and understand the impact of upcoming changes 

To deliver enhancements to our entire membership, you can expect temporary changes to your banking experience from Friday, March 4 starting at 12pm to Monday, March 7 at 6am.  

Plan ahead for March 4

You’ll be able spend using your debit card, and withdraw cash from our ATM; however, for large purchases beyond your normal limits during this time, you may want to plan ahead for unplanned or unexpected purchases prior to March 4: 

  • Take out extra cash
  • Make any foreign exchange arrangements
  • Pay upcoming bills   
  • Check your credit card balances and make a payment to top up available credit if necessary 


Familiarize yourself with temporary limitations 

Transactions on your accounts made during this weekend will not be reflected in your account activity until Monday, March 7. In addition, all members will not have access to telephone and digital banking experiences from Friday, March 4 at 12pm until Monday, March 7 at 6am, this includes the following services will not be available:

  • Transfers between accounts
  • Sending or receiving Interac® eTransfers 
  • Account balance, activity, and recent transaction history
  • Bill payments
  • Deposits (In branch and ATM)

More tips to help prepare for temporary limitations:

  • To avoid overspending, make a note of your account balances and keep track of spending manually

New saving and spending acounts  

A simplified new lineup of saving and spending accounts, designed by members for members, are arriving on March 1, 2022. The new accounts were created to help you manage your money, and:  

  • Build and maintain healthy spending and savings habits
  • Easily understand and select the account that best suits your lifestyle or business
  • Make quick and easy financial decisions  

Personal and business members with existing spending and saving account(s) will be automatically assigned to a new account based on their previous account preferences.
