Scholarships

G&F Financial Group is dedicated to supporting students as they pursue their educational goals.

We offer a number of scholarships and bursaries to both high school and post-secondary students in our local communities.

High school scholarships

G&F offers scholarships through many high schools in the communities we serve. If you’re a high school student interested in a G&F scholarship, check with your school to find out what's available.

Post-secondary scholarships

G&F offers many education awards to students who are beginning or continuing a full program of studies at an accredited university or technical institute in BC, including, but not exclusive to:

  • University of British Columbia
  • Simon Fraser University
  • Kwantlen Polytechnic University
  • British Columbia Institute of Technology
  • University of the Fraser Valley

Applicants must be active members or immediate family of an active member of the credit union.

Contact your school to learn more about how to apply for high school and post-secondary scholarships.

Out of province scholarships

Each year, G&F Financial Group offers two $1,500 awards to students who are beginning or continuing a full program of studies at an accredited university or technical institute outside the Province of British Columbia.

Applicants must be active members or immediate family of an active member of the credit union. Recipients are chosen based on a number of factors including academic achievement, support of the credit union, extra-curricular activities and community involvement.

You'll need to apply before September 1 of each year! Email inquiry@gffg.com for more information on how to apply.
