G&F Financial Group Foundation

Supporting our community is at the very heart of what we do.

The G&F Financial Group Foundation (the Foundation) provides financial assistance to charities and non-profit agencies that build on the values of G&F to make a positive and lasting impact in the community.

The Foundation is funded primarily through discretionary allocations from G&F, which are approved by the Board of Directors and also through donations from fundraising events. 

Areas of support

The Foundation provides financial assistance to organizations that support:

  1. Community health – programs or groups that support the well-being of our communities such as social services, health and youth activities
  2. Financial literacy – programs or groups that support increased education about finances and overall education programs
  3. Environmental impact – programs or groups that support the health and vitality of our external environment

Application period

Applications for funding through the G&F Financial Group Foundation take place twice per year. 

Spring session

Application period: March 1 – April 30
Foundation committee meeting: June

Fall session

Application period: August 1 – September 30
Foundation committee meeting: November
