Position Description

The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the success of the Vision of G&F Financial.  The Manager, Process Development is responsible for ensuring that the operational models, processes and tools are in place to support the organization’s strategic objectives with respect to service quality and continuous process improvement while adhering to regulatory requirements.  Works closely with operational and corporate departments to reduce redundancy and ensure an efficient workflow throughout the organization.

Manages complex organization-wide projects and ensures departmental changes to systems and/or processes are aligned with organizational strategies; Continuously reviews and documents systems and processes; Conducts market research for the purpose of benchmarking G&F Financial Group with other credit unions on productivity and operational structure; Develops recommendations for re-engineering and/or automating systems and processes where necessary; Researches, promotes and aligns technology to support process automation within the organization.

Qualifications Required

  • 4 - 6 years related experience in the financial industry
  • Knowledge of loans functions, deposit functions and wealth management (mutual funds)
  • Successful completion of post- secondary program in Business, Marketing, Finance, etc.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
